From Mick

Unity College SAR Team (UCSAR) is organized under the Student Government Association of Unity College, which is itself part of the college's 501 (c) 3 charitable organization. Contributions to the team are welcome and will be well spent:

90 Quaker Hill Road
Unity, Maine 04988

UCSAR service is open to all students attending Unity College, and is particularly associated with our Conservation Law Enforcement degree major, a four year bachelor's degree program that provides liberal education with professional preparation for service as a game warden, conservation officer, or park ranger. Students in the Parks, Recreation, and Ecotourism, and Adventure Education Leadership programs, also benefit greatly from membership, training, and call-out experience.

The CLE degree program faculty are Timothy Peabody, MS, and Carol Blasi, JD. Mick Womersley is the faculty mentor of the SAR team and a trainer in the CLE program.

This blog is intended to be apolitical, but not necesarily "politically correct." I will remove posts that I find, or that other contributors find, to be offensive or not usefully germane to SAR and Mountain Rescue. Thank you, Blogmeister Mick.
